He was accepted to the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1992 and after four years of hard work received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree with a certificate in Construction Management¸ Those four years at Tech have been the most rewarding years of his life¸ Looking back he realizes that all the experiences that he had at Tech plus the experience of being on his own have turned him into a man¸
During the last six summers he has worked at M¸D¸ Construction Corp¸ a construction company in Puerto Rico¸ This company specializes in the development and construction of townhouses¸ He worked as an assistant engineer and project manager¸ This work experience allowed him to interact with many professionals in the field¸ It also helped him relate his studies to real world situations¸ Being in charge of managing a construction operation made him realize the importance of management skills in real world applications¸ Because of this he decided to pursue a masters degree in management¸ In his opinion this management degree will be the perfect complement for his engineering degree¸
Because life is not only work and studies Victor practices various activities to relax and have fun¸ He is a good golfer with a 12 handicap¸ He also plays tennis volleyball and any type of water sport (water skiing wakeboarding etc¸)¸ Apart form golf and his girlfriend (of course!) his other passion in life is music¸ He plays the piano and the drums¸ He also owns a very extensive CD collection and has taken great care in installing excellent sound systems in his car and house¸
