I came into the world on March 7th at 1979¸ My mother had to have a cesarean section because my head was not turned the correct way¸ Most people that know me may think that the reason she had a cesarean is because my head was so big it would not fit¸ You see many people think of me as being a very cocky person even though I am not very cocky most of the time¸ I actually have a very low self esteem about some things because I tend to expect too much from myself in athletics¸ I would say that I have a fair amount of athletic ability compared to a lot of people but I expect myself to be able to do too many things that are not with in my limits¸ When I do this to myself I get nothing out of sports except anger and frustration¸ There have been numerous times that I will have played my ass off in a basketball game or tennis match and still was not satisfied with myself because I either lost‚ did not score enough points or did not play my best¸ When I do this I am not being fair to myself one bit‚ all that any one should ask from themselves when they compete in anything is that they give 100% effort for the whole time¸ This is the one major fault in my personality that both helps me become a better person and yet hurts me as a person at the same time¸ I had my first learning experiences when I was three or four years old in the basement of the First Congregational Church¸ This was not only the first time I was in school but also my first real contact with many kids who were my age¸ In preschool I had my first best friend of my life her name was Darcie Reynolds¸ Preschool was the period of my life when I experienced many firsts¸ I experienced the first bully‚ his name was Ben Stokesberry¸ Every day he would hit me on the head with G¸I¸ Joes and knock down the walls I built out of cardboard bricks¸
