A new record store opened its doors to the consumer in my community¸ 12 noon was the time of the grand opening¸ I went to the grand opening of this store with two friends of mine¸ Since it was suppose to be the largest records store in all of Canada and it was a grand opening‚ we had high expectations¸ Expectations of low prices‚ a really good selection‚ and perhaps an fresh environment¸ Only one of those expectations was full filled ­ fresh environment¸ The store was massive and very "stylish"¸ A huge neon logo of the record store was visable from the road¸ The interior was very classy¸ So far from looking at the store from the exterior‚ we were impressed¸ When we finally got inside we were very dissapointed¸ The selection for our type of music was limited and was hard to find; it was not under the proper category¸ Our second let down was that the prices were not impressive‚ in fact they were higher than usual¸ The builing was the IMAGE and the anticipation was the HYPE¸ The store was all image and all hype‚ we were not impressed¸
