Ah the Internet¸ Beacon of free speech and (mostly) unregulated thought¸ However for all the positive points this latest communication technology has I must say that I have moments of intense frustration when Im on the web¸
The very nature of the Internet allows for essentially anyone to put essentially anything on the net¸ Sounds like a good idea until you try to actually find something on the net¸ Even the best search engines that Ive used
Invariably come up with at least 50% junk hits¸ I have to wonder sometimes if it wouldnt be easier to just go to a library for any serious attempts to find any serious information¸ Add to this the growing fear that the Internet
will eventually cave in on itself (although I personally have my doubts as to that happening) and a case could be made for some sort of regulation not regulation that would compromise the 1st ammendment but rather regulation
that would help to filter out some of junk that is on the internet¸
