It amazes me how few people are willing to acknowledge the asymetry of sexuality. I know of no women‚ including several good freinds who are lesbians‚ who get any significant jolt out of watching sex. I don’t know any men including a few homosexuals who don’t get some charge out of watching. I am not sure how the society can deal with this. It means that we need to have laws that reflect an obligation by women for the impact the appearance of their bodies have on men. We need to recognise that some men are constituionaly unable to manage the drug like impact of women’s appearance on them. Personally I feel I can manage watching women as well as I manage my use of alchohol. Imperfectly but well within acceptable limits. Not every man can do this. The men who can’t manage their seuality usually have no place where they can acknowledge this. Women who find serious objection to their beiing looked at in a lacivious way should have no standing to object unless there is some overt act that threatens them.
