Well‚ this was about eight to nine years ago‚ my family and me had gone to a pinic with a bunch of friends. The family we had gone with had two kids‚ boys‚ one of them was about 3 years older than me and the other was about my age. That same day at aroud 5:00 pm. we all decided to go swimming in the lake. Suddenly as I was crawling farther and farther when hole "opened" up under me and a went down. Do not get me wrong I knew how to swim but at that moment it was as if panic took over my body and paralized all my muscles. This is where that kid comes into the story. He‚ being the life saver and all‚ noticed that I was drounding­which was not very hard­ and came to help me out. As is obvious he was successful. From that day on I have been more careful with the things I do. It is funny how I still remember that day. I guess it takes a shocking experince to make a day stand out.
