One does not often get a chance to climb on the soapbox on the WebSites and complain about societys ills¸ But this could be fun¸ No I do not want to beat the racism card to death (O¸J Simpson and all the Cowboys have embarrassed all minorities for that!!) but instead I do want to talk about the lack of compassion and willingness to understand those different than us¸ Why must we always look for friends wifes girlfriends drinking friends etc¸¸¸that are exactly like us in every way? Would our lives not be much more fulfilled if we had acquaintances with people of other cultures social backgrounds or even of the other sex?? let us live a little in this world of ours and start allowing the passion for learning and exploring new lifestyles emerge¸ No I am not a touchy feely person but rather get quite upset when I enter a room of the opposite sex "higher class people" or whatever and end up being stared at ignored or brushed aside because I am not the same as they¸ we all have a lot to offer each other a lot of the same interests different points of view solutions to different problems and fresh outlook on life¸ Rodney King was an asshole but really? cant we all just get along or at leat try a little? i am fairly popular have tons of friends and lots of drinking parties etc¸¸ but even I tend to have friends that resemble act or speak like me¸ I look at other groups in society and there seems to be a natural segregation that occurs¸¸ I lied this is not natural but rather a system inflicted by our societal past and this must end¸ As we live in the same world therefore we are one race one people just different ideas¸ i dont care if people do not listen¸ Eventually we will ALL be dead and living in yet another world either HEAVEN or HELL and guess what we will be stuck with each other again!!!Thats all folks¸ Thanks for the opportunity to speak (or type!)
