My favorite music groups is the Beatles and it has been wonderful to see a whole new generation learning to enjoy their music¸ With the advent of the three Anthology albums‚ young people of today now have a musical link to the lives of their parents and the "older" generation¸ In exploring the unheard treasures of the beatles Anthology‚ one can plainly see how their songs developed from a series of simple chords into the mammoth productions that were eventually realesed to the public¸ One thing sthat fascinates me is the first­rate quality of many of the songs that the Beatles and their producers felt we’re good enough for public consumption¸ But to listen to them today‚ one can only wonder why they felt that these songs we’re good enough to be released¸ These "buried treasures" have opened a whole new level of understanding the music of Lennon and McCartney‚ and I can only hope that the public’s rampant aceptance of these releases will convince the remaining members of the band to once again unite to make beautiful music together¸ There recent appearance on "Good Morning America" leads one to believe that the slightest chance of a Beatles reunion is still posible despite denials¸
